Hey! Glad you came. I'm Brooks. Since age 13 to now, I have written somewhere over 500 songs and counting. Some are fine. But others should be shared with the world. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me and The Mad Dog No Good as we shared music with you in the past. Now let's talk about the future (by way of the past). Starting in 2014, I began having respiratory issues. They were strong enough to contemplate an alternative method of delivering to you the music that comes to me. (Bars and tip jars are beautiful things, but unfortunately healthcare don't run on tunes.)
The next year, The Songster Part 2 was born and to my delight, fans dug it! A sequel with no end, it was originally a bunch of thoughtfully compiled, lo-fi odds and ends that didn't fit with the main thing. Now it is the main thing. From the winter of 2016 until my work is done, every track where I am the lead artist has and will be in some edition of The Songster Part 2. Can you dig it?
There are 5 editions so far. I'm very proud of what's there, but they were not easy births. And there are many unrecorded songs that need more resources to be realized than what I can currently scrape together. Time. Space. People. Many just like you helped me bring the Mannish Boys album into the world. Now I need you again, this time on a sustainable basis. I'm hoping you can help me continue the musical journey.
